I Had A Dream

It was the summer after graduation from high school when I found myself questioning my future. I had applied to several colleges and universities, not knowing why or what for. All I "knew" to do was go on to higher education, for it was the thing to do...don't ya know. Then the dream, and what a dream it was. I was walking outside in the rain, yet the sun was shining ever so bright. It was pouring, and I loved it! I felt such joy...extreme joy! And as the rain hit the ground, the ground became flooded with silver dollar coins! However, my joy was not from material wealth. I knew this dream had profound meaning, but not til recently (I'm now 55)! Because I have come to understand its meaning, I can walk out my future in a greater measure of assurance, peace and direction. How many want this kind of peace, assurance and direction in life? If we are all honest, we would all answer "yes." God's will for your life is to know Him, and to know Him, we must recognize His voice when He speaks. And He does speak through dreams. However, not all dreams are from God. This is where discernment of truth is needed and crucial. May the Spirit of Truth guide you into all truth.

What Do Your Dreams Mean?

Welcome Dreamer,

We are living in the greatest outpouring of God's Spirit upon earth, and He is pouring out upon all mankind. The book of Acts in the Bible declares this truth, and a major portion of this outpouring are dreams and visions. If God places an emphasis on them, then we need to find out why. If dreams and visions are important to God, then they should be important to us. Simply put, dreams and visions are a major way of communication by the Creator with His creation (mankind). And if He is talking to us, we need to listen. And not only listen, but learn His "language." This "language" of dreams and visions requires understanding the Word of God and what it says about dreams and visions. This can only happen by the leading of Holy Spirit, the author of the Bible. If He wrote it, then He's the One that can reveal it. My prayer is that you come to know Him and hear His voice for yourself, for He desires a real relationship with you....one-on-one, like you do with a friend or a parent. He is real, and He is speaking to us in this hour through dreams and visions. He promised it. Do you believe it? Find out for yourself. Read Acts 2 of the Bible. Ask the Creator to show Himself to you. Say, "Lord, if You are real, show me." It's that simple. He's not complicated religion. He's a Personal God who desires to communicate with you and have fellowship with you. Talk to Him. May the Lord shine His face upon you, and direct you with His wisdom and understanding. -- Joanne
